Spiral wound

Spirometallic gaskets are made from a continuous strip of shaped metal material coupled with another filling tape generally made of PTFE, MICA, Ceramic Fiber, or Glass, both uniformly wrapped with constant wrapping tension. Sealing at different temperature and pressure conditions is guaranteed by the elastic action of the special metal profile. The assembly is commonly assembled with internal, external, or both centering rings.
